She then went on to attain a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 1990. During her time in college, Dr. Seifi worked as a lead Dental Assistant at Columbia Dental Center. Dr. Seifi went on to open her own private practice in 1991, and has been practicing ever since.

Meet Dr. Seifi
Dr. Maryam Seifi earned her B.S. in Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1986 and her DDS from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 1990. During her studies, she served as Lead Dental Assistant at Columbia Dental Center, Dental Lab Technician, Admissions Board Member, and President of the American Women Dental Association. She also earned honorary admission to the Prosthodontics and Cosmetic Clerkship.
In 1991, Dr. Seifi opened her private practice and later worked as an Associate to Dr. Lou in Maryland from 1994-1995.
